Welcome to the Fresh Vegetable Growers of Ontario (FVGO)

The FVGO is a not for profit organization formed in 2005. The FVGO represents all fresh market vegetables grown in Ontario with the exceptions of asparagus, garlic, potatoes, rutabagas, greenhouse and processing vegetables as they are covered by grower organizations.

Our commitment is to provide the highest level of support and recognition for the fresh vegetable grower through the development of relationships and the pursuance of priorities that would directly provide sustainability for the industry.

The Fresh Vegetable Growers of Ontario are committed to:

  • the promotion of fresh Ontario vegetables

  • lobby for minor use registrations

  • provide input and encouragement for research and development that addresses the grower needs and concerns
